Gulfstream Park has a 10-race card Saturday, Sept. 16th.
First post is at 12:50 PM in Hallandale Beach, Fla.
One stakes races are planned; the Bear's Den Stakes. It's
a $75,000 purse run on the All-Weather track at 1 mile-70 yards for 3
year-olds. Nine runners are listed with the M/L favorite as Amstrong at 7:2.
The Rainbow 6 wager is the sole carryover Saturday at $45,174, and will get underway with race #5 near 2:50 p.m.
On Friday, 6 of 6 paid $1,735.88 to 10 winners. Four of the 8 races were won by favorites, 3 in the last 6 races. El Principito won race 4 at 19:1 odds, boosting the late multiple race payouts. It was the maiden, 2 year old's first win in her first start!
The winning Rainbow 6 program #'s: 5-2-4-2-2-1/2.
Total all-sources track handle was $2.60 million Friday.
