Gulfstream Park plans an 8-race card Sunday, October 1st.
First post is at 12:50 PM in Hallandale Beach, Fla. The Aventura Stakes will be run in race 6 about 3:25 PM. It's a 1-mile on dirt race for 2 year-olds. Secret Chat is the 8:5 M/L favorite in the field of 6.
The Rainbow 6 wager paid $1,695.04 to about 27 winners Saturday. Sunday's carryover there is $162,921 with a Gulfstream guaranteed pool of $225,000. Race 3 will start the Rainbow 6 sequence at approximately 1:50 p.m.
The winning Rainbow 6 program #'s Saturday were: 8-4-6-6-2/4/5-6.
Mattingly (1.5:1) won the Hollywood Beach Stakes Saturday by 1-3/4 lengths over Okiro. Prevent finished 4th.
Total all-sources track handle was $5.0 million Saturday under cloudy-fast conditions.
