Park racing plans an 8-race program Friday to start its live 3 days of
racing; with a 12:50 p.m. post time. No stakes races are listed on the
racing card.
The 3rd through 8th races are the Rainbow 6 races, starting at approximately 1:48 PM with race #3. The carryover Friday on this bet will be $132,498.
In the last live racing, September 24th, 4 favorites won on the day, 4 in the last 6 races. The longshot winner was Orb Alpha at 21:1 in race 2. The Rainbow 6 wager paid $603.96
to about 60 bettors. All race-time favorites finished in the money
Sunday.
Interestingly, if you bet $2 WPS on the race-time favorites,
your return would have been $59.10 on the $54.00 wager. Not a risky or sexy strategy, but still a +9.44% return on investment on the day.
59 runners entered the gates Sunday, with 40 entries in the Rainbow 6 sequence.
The winning program numbers on the Rainbow (last 6 races) were: 2/6-4-3/5-7-3-8.
Total all-sources track handle was $3.79 million Sunday. The purse money totaled $376,000 under cloudy-fast conditions.
