GP: Turf Sprints are Saturday Co-Features; Rainbow 6 Carryover is $284,731

A pair of 5 1/2 furlong  turf stakes are Saturday's co-feature races at Gulfstream Park.

The $75.0 Melody of Colors is for 3-year-old fillies.  It is the seventh race with scheduled post of  4:06 p.m.

The dirt track and the all-weather Tapeta track are listed  as Fast. The  tur is  listed as  Firm. 

The $75,000 Texas Glitter is for 3-year-old males.  It is the ninth race with scheduled post of 5:10 p.m.  

First post is 1:05 p.m. for an 11-race card.

The first race has a Super Hi-5  carryover of  $3,731.

The Rainbow 6  has a carryover of $284,731.

The 20 cents per-combination only bet is on races six to eleven, with the sequence scheduled to start at 3:35 p.m.

On Friday there were 75  Rainbow 6 tickets with  all 6 winning horses. Each of those tickets paid $1,107.60 om a 20-cent bet.

Wagering on the Rainbow  6 was $149,256. Of that Gulfstream took out 20 percent. It then divided 56 percent among the tickets with six winners and added  24 percent to the carryover.

Program numbers of the winning horses were 6-6-5-6-7-8, on races four through nine.
