Gulfstream Park has a 12-race card Saturday. First post is near 12:40 pm, last post 6:00 pm. The two stakes races are the Hutcheson and the Silks Run. Both are $100,000 purses on the turf at 6 and 5 furlings respectively. Race 8's Hutcheson's favorite is Super Chow at even money, while the Silks Run in race 11 - morning line favorite is Big Invasion at 5:2.
In Friday's racing, about 450 bettors cashed in for a smallish $180.72 each on the Rainbow 6 wager. Three favorites won in the rainbow 6, with the long odds win at just 2.8:1.
Gulfstream
set a $400,000 guarantee gross pool if the wagering is less than that
(carryover + wagers) for Saturday. With no single winner, the Saturday
carryover will be $280,510.
Forty-four entries left the gate in the last 6 races. The winning program numbers were 7-1/2-8-4-2/8-2. The only noticeable big win was the Super High 5 in race 9 paying $9,823.90 to a single winner on the $1 bet.
Total all-sources track handle was $7.90million Friday, along with a $478,000 purse size.
Good Luck!
