Gulfstream Park plans a 9-race card Thursday, amid muddy main track conditions, and a 35 to 55
percent of rain during race hours. First post will be 1:15 PM. The
track entries have been reduced to just 55 as of this morning with many
horses scratched in the 6 turf races . Race 7 is the sole 2 year-old
race on the dirt. The weather will be a handicapping challenge.
Who will
be the surprise, odds-beating horse today?
In
Sunday's action, 87 starters ran 11 races, with five favorites in the
winners circle. No winner was over 9.5:1 race time odds, leading to some
ho-hum payouts.
Here are the late race payouts for Sunday.
The Late Pick 4 paid: $737.15
Late Pick 5 paid: $929.10
Rainbow 6 paid: $962.28 to 166 winners. The Rainbow 6 pool was $288,016.
Carryovers:
The Rainbow 6 carryover is now up to $674,996,
as the elusive single winner to this wager has yet to occur this meet.
The Super Hi-5 wager was not cashed in the last race Sunday, so that
carryover will be $2,498. This wager needs 7 starters,
so it's uncertain what race that will be, since race 4 is the first race
with 7 starters on the program.
The Rainbow 6 will kicks off in race #4 on the dirt track at about a 2:45 PM Post Time.
Total track handle from all sources was $7.74 million Sunday.
Enjoy your race day!
