The seventh of twelve races is coming up on a rainy Saturday at Gulfstream Park.
Due to rain that began this morning and has continued this afterrnoon, all six schedued for turf races have been moved to te dirt trasck that is Listred as Sloppy and has been sealed.
Those races are numbers 1, 3,5, 7, 9 and 11.
Meanwhile, Subtropical Storm Abeerto is headed toward the Gulf of Mexico.
All of the forecasts call for Alberto to make landfall somewhere on the Gulf's northern coast, and the Miami-Fort Lauderdale area is more than 100 miles east of the storm's cone. But more heavy rain is forecast for that region, and that likely will force Gulfstrream, to take races off the turf on Sunday and on Monday, when it has a special Memorial Day card.
