Prior to Saturday's 12th and final race at Gulfstream, we reported that there was a carryover of $7,646 on the Super Hi 5.
The bet was hit by an undetermined number of tickets.
Bettors added $11,225 to the pool. The payoff was $3,370.10 on the minimum $1 bet.
Miss Casuarina, the 7-10 favorite, won the maiden claiming race by 1 1/2 lengths over Kittian Hill at 6-1.
The third through fifth place finishers were sent off at 18-1 or higher.
The Super Hi 5 requires picking the first five finishers in correct order, with no consolation payoffs such as four of five.
Gulfstream offers the Super Hi-5 on al of its races with seven or more starters.
Sunday's first race has just six entries. The second race has ten entrants and likely will have the Super Hi-5.
