The Kentucky Oaks (Grade 1) is 1 1/8 miles on dirt for 3-year-old fillies.  It is the 11th race with scheduled post of 6:12 p.m.ttt

NOTE--I had the good fortune of being at every Kentucky  Derby and at every Kentucky Oaks from 1999 through 2013.  On those days and other days you will find TVs showing the Gulfstream and Tanpa Bay  races--with some fans betting on them in this wonderful world of simulcast wagering.
