Gulfstream Park has a 10-race program planned for Sunday's race day. No stakes races are planned.
The 5th through 10th races are the Rainbow 6 races, starting at approximately 2:35 PM. The carryover there is $31,365 after that wager paid out $3,739.96 Saturday to approximately 12 bettors.
The winning program numbers were: 4/7-4-7-3/4-6/7-5. It
was the 2nd day in the Rainbow 6 carryover. The Rainbow 6 field was 45
horses, and the pool totaled $78,416; low for a Saturday, but expected
with the smallish $12,548 carryover coming into the race day.
Cupid's Dart
at 29:1 was the long-odds favorite in race 5. Races 6-11 comprised the
Rainbow 6, with three favorites winning the last 6 races.
Devil's Only Friend
ended the day in race 11 winning at 21:1 by 1-3/4 lengths. The favorite
finished 7th. That win upped the ante for the late exotic wager payouts
no doubt. The Super High 5 bet also has a $2,456 carryover Sunday to be run in the first race with 7 or more starters.
Eighty-Two horses ran Saturday. The Late Pick 4 and Pick 5 bets paid $870.35 and $3,825.70 respectively.
Good luck !
