Gulfstream Park has a 9-race program Friday. First post is at 12:40 PM.
No stakes races are on the Friday card. The 4th through 9th races are the Rainbow 6 races, starting at approximately 2:10 PM. The carryover there is $0. That's due to a jackpot win in Thursday's racing. The single winner was paid $42,893.78.
That
made for back-to-back jackpot wins on the Rainbow 6 wager. Last
Sunday's mandatory payout (see prior post) paid out $8,187.14 to 694
winners. The last back-to-back without a mandatory payout was Nov. 4-5
last year.
In Thursday's action, three favorites won in the Rainbow 6 races, the high odds being races 4 and 5 at 13:1 when Haruki won by a head, and Extraction Will won by 1 length.
The winning program numbers on the last 6 races were: 5-3-9-2/7-2-4. The Late Pick 4 and Late Pick 5 paid $397.20 and $9,097.20 respectively.
Total all-sources track handle was $5.47 million Thursday.
