In Friday's racing, about 105 bettors cashed in for a smallish $272.50 each on the Rainbow 6. Three favorites won in the rainbow 6, with the high-odds winner 5:1 in race 5.
Gulfstream set a $50,000 Rainbow 6 guarantee gross pool if the wagering is less than that (carryover + wagers) for Saturday.
With no single winner, the Saturday carryover will be $12,548.
Forty-seven entries left the gate in the last 6 races. The winning program numbers were 5-6-3-4/5-3-3.
The
noticeable big payoffs Friday were the Super High 5 paying $9,282.80 in
race 4, and $9,690.20 in race 6. The late Pick 4 and Pick 5 paid $37.75
and $216.50 respectively.
Total all-sources track handle was $5.73 million Friday, along with a $271,000 purse size.
