Gulfstream Park will run 12 races Friday, with a first post at 1:15 p.m. This is very unusual, as most all Friday cards are 9 or 10 races. Gulfstream is playing catch-up from last weekends rain-out with no racing last Saturday and Sunday.
No stakes races are planned.
The sole carryover is on the Rainbow 6, at $545,714. The Rainbow 6 wager is on races 7 to 12, with the sequence scheduled to start at 4:28 p.m.
Gulfstream is setting a guaranteed gross pool of $750,000 Friday if the wagering + carryover are less than that.
In Thursday's racing, 16 winners hit the Rainbow 6 win for $2,741.18 each, and 43 horses
raced in the Rainbow 6.
The high odds winner was 7:1 in race 5.
Betting on the Rainbow 6 was $82,265, and all sources track handle was $3.68 million Thursday.
