After being dark this Monday through Thursday, Gulfstream Park will resume live racing on Friday with nine races and first post at 2:00 p.m.
Gulfstream, in Hallandale Beach, Fla,, also will have live racing this Saturday and Sunday. Those three-day race weeks will be the standard for the remainder of Gulfstream's spring/summer meet, which is scheduled to end on Sept. 26.
There are no stakes races on the Friday card.
The Rainbow 6 on Friday has a carryover of $342,424. The carryover has grown because Gulfstream has gone nine straight race days without the jackpot payout requirement of just one ticket with the winners of all six Rainbow 6 races.
The jackpot consists of the entire carryover plus 80 percent of the day's new Rainbow 6 bets.
Om days when there is not a single-ticket winner, Gulfstream takes out 20 percent of the day's Rainbow 6 bet. It then divides 56 percent among multiple tickets with the most winners (usually six) and adds 24 percent to the carryover.
On Sunday, Gulfstream's most recent race day, $203,831 was bet on the Rainbow 6. There were 22 tickets with all six winners, Each won $5,238 on a 20-cent bet.
Program numbers of the winning horses were 10-2-1-5-8-2. All of the winners were at 6-1 odds or lower,

Gulfstream's entries for Saturday will be out late Wednesday afternoon, and its entries for Sunday will be out late Thursday afternoon.
Gulfstream's condition book shows the $75,000 Monroe Stakes, 1 1/16 miles on turf for fillies and mares 3-YO and up, on Saturday. It shows the $60,000 Bay Harbor Islands Handicap, at five furlongs on turf for 3-year-olds and up on Sunday.
The Silks simulcast area on Gulfstream's ground floor is open daily.
