Gulfstream on the 'Good' Turf for Friday's Card; Carryback for 3-YOs Set for Saturday

Gulfstream Park is on the turf for Friday's nine-race card, with first post at 2:00 p.m.

The dirt is listed as Fast and the turf is listed as Good.

The second, fifth, seventh and ninth races are scheduled for turf.  It is likely that they will stay on that surface.  The chance of rain is just 15 percent during racing hours, according to the Weather Channel.

There are no stakes races on the Friday card.  

On Friday. the carryover on the Rainbow 6 is $98,144. The 20 cents per combination-only bet  is on races four-to-nine with the sequence scheduled to start at 3:30 p.m.

On Saturday, Gulfstream will have thirteen races with first post at 12:20 p.m. 

The feature race is the $75,000 Carryback Stakes at seven furlongs on dirt for 3-year-olds.

Friday's card also has the $60,000

 Hallandale Beach Handicap at seven furlongs on dirt for 3-YO fillies 


On Sunday, Gulfstream will have eleven races with first post of 12:50 p.m.

The feature tenth race is the $60,000 City of Dania Beach, at one mile on dirt for 3-YOs and up.
