Low-Odds Horses Win First Two Legs of Rainbow 6

Shivaree (6), at  3-1, won Saturday's fourth race to start  the Rainbow 6.

Beach Dreaming (5), also at 3-1, won the fifth race.

With two low-dds winners starting the sequence, it increases the chance that there will  be multiple  tickets with all six Rainbow  6 winners and a  continuatu=ion of the carryover.

The Rainbow 6 carryover  coming in was $1,028,040.  Bettors  added $276,816  to Re pool--warming up for Sunday's  mandatory payout day that could have more than $5 million in Rainbow 6 betting.

Today is the 39th  and next-to-last day of the GP West meet held at  Calder in Miami Gardens and ruu by Gulfstream ParThe carryover has grown because none of the 38 days have had the "jackpot takedown" rule of just one ticket with all six Rainb 6  winners.

The jackpot consists of the entire coming in carryover plus 80 percent of the day's  Rainbow 6  bet.

A single ticket winner today  would take down a jackpot of about $1.25 million,

If  the carryover continues, it would be about  $1.1 million on Sunday/  And with the entire carryover being paid out, it is likely that  $5 million or more will be bet on the Rainbow 6.
