In the carryover news, the wagering carryovers Friday will include the Rainbow 6, starting in race 5 at approx. 3:30 PM. The growing carryover is now $1,509,826 if a single winner exists for all 6 races bet to win. In Thursday's action, 74 starters ran 10 races with 6 favorites entering the winners circle.
560 bettors collected a lowly $349.62 each on the winning Rainbow wager. Three favorites won in the last 6 races, but Face of Victory the high-odds winner on the day at 15:1 won the 7th race. That was not enough to whittle down the live tickets much in the remaining 3 races.
Bettors added $350,744 the Rainbow 6 pool, and the carryover increased by $84,156.
The late Pick 4 paid $135 on the minimum 50 cent bet.
The late Pick 5 paid just $255 The Super Hi-5 was hit in race 10, so no carryover there today.
Total all-sources handle was $8.12 million.
