First post is 1:15 p.m. for the program that has a Rainbow 6 carryover of $1,970,071.
On Wednesday, Gulfstream moved all four scheduled-for-turf races to the dirt following heavy rains on Tuesday night and early Wednesday.
Five of Thursday's races are scheduled for turf. Those are the third, fifth, seventh, ninth and tenth races.
The Weather Channel forecast is for just a 15 percent chance of rain during racing hours.
The Rainbow 6 will begin on the fifth race, with a scheduled post of 3:15 p.m. The carryover has grown because Gulfstream has gone 24 straight race days without the jackpot/carryover payoff requirement of just one ticket with the winners of all six Rainbow 6 races.
On Thursday morning, four horses were scratched from the Rainbow 6 races. Those horses, with program numbers, are:
Fifth race - Irish Princess (2)
Fifth race - Irish Princess (2)
Seventh race -- Catoutofthebag (2)
Tenth race -- Bar Libre (1) and Livinadream (10)
That leaves the Rainbow 6 races with 46 entrants --a relatively low number.
That increases the chances that there will again be multiple winning tickets, and an extension of the carryover into Friday.
