Brandt (2) at 2-1 beat the even-money favorite More Illusions (7) by a length in the $16,000 claiming race at one mile on dirt. Those horses have different owners.
The $2 exacta paid $17.80.
Enduring Arch (1) finished third, by a head, in the six-horse field.
Gusty Wind (5) finished fourth. He is trained and owned by the popular Jerry Bozzo, who is 97-years young.
Last year, Bozzo became the oldest trainer to win a thoroujghbred race in North America.
On May 30, 2015, he became the oldest trainer to win a thoroughbred stakes race in North America when Flutterby won the Sea Lily Stakes at Gulfstream.
