Here is our predicted order of finish and post position for the race.
1 - Hofburg (4)
2 - Justify (1)
3 - Vino Rosso (8)
4 - Bravazo (3)
5 - Blended Citizen (10)
Look for Justify to shoot out to the lead from the rail.
Noble Indy (9), and Resolving Hope (5) will be in close pursuit.
Justify will put those two away after the first mile. Then he will face a new wave of challengers.
Our bet is that Hofburg will be fresh and good enough to catch Justify in the final 16th, thus ending his bid for the Triple Crown.
This would be similar to 2004 when Birdstone rallied to beat Smarty Jones, eliminating him from Triple Crown contention.
