Bob Bauer, our Tampa Bay Downs associate editor and handicapper, nailed the fifth race at the Oldsmar track on Friday--with a suggested $2 trifecta that paid $567.20.
Bob suggested a $2 win bet on Antador (2). That horse won and paid $18.60.
He also suggested a $2 trifecta part wheel with Antador singled on top. He had horses 4, 8,9 and 10 in both the second and third holes.
The winning tri was Antador (2) followed by Irish Major (8) and Darn that Parker (10). The odds were 8-1, 9-5 and 14-1.
Total cost of that bet was $18. Bob's reasons for suggesting that bet can be found in the preceding post on this blog.
The fifth race was the first of Bob's recommended bets on Friday.
On most days, he will have several recommended bets on Tampa Bay Downs races.
