Galleon Mast beat his stablemate Blue Harbor by 2 ¼ lengths in Monday’s $50,000 The Vid
Handicap at Gulfstream Park.

The Vid was 1 1/16 miles on turf for 3-year-olds and up.

With Tyler Gaffalione riding, Galleon Mast took the lead in mid-stretch and
won in 1:42.58 on the course listed as firm.
J.R.’s Holiday finished third, 1 1/4 lengths behind Blue Harbor.
Galleon Mast was the 4-5 favorite.
Blue Harbor and J.R.’s Holiday were both at 7-1 odds.
The Vid was the second stakes victory for Galleon Mast on Aug. 6, he won
the Eight Miles East at one mile on turf at Gulfstream.
Anne D. Scott owns Galleon Mast, a
4-year-old gelding who is a Florida-bred son of Mizzen Mast
Domino Enterprises owns Blue Harbor, a 5-year-old Kentucky-bred gelding
who is a son of Rockport Harbor.
