A Thread of Blue (6), the 2-1 favorite, took an early lead and went on to beat Louder than Bombs (5) by five lengths in the $100,000 Dania Beach Stakes (Grade 3) on Sundfay at Gulfstream.
Current (10) finished third in the one mile turf race for 3-year-olds.
A Thread of Blue, in his stakes debut, won in 1:34.96 on the course listed as Firm.
Luis Saez rode A Thread of Blue for trainer Kiaran McLaughlin.
