Gulfstream will run 9 races Sunday, with a 12:50 PM first post.
No stakes races are planned on the day.
In Saturday's racing, R Adios Jersey won the Sheer Drama stakes race by 6-1/2 lengths over Charlie's Wish. The winner paid $4.20 on a $2 wager. The Rainbow 6 wager attracted $1.8 million in new money, adding to the $338,000 carryover from Friday. The correct 6 winners on that wager paid $11,351 to around 150 bettors.
The early races were usual fare, except the Early Pick 5 paying a monster $55,580. The War Cross win in race 5 at 18:1 was the chief reason there.
So the Rainbow 6 starts Sunday back at ZERO on the carryover, set up for the next cycle of daily wagering.
The Super High 5 could garner attention Sunday, as the carryover there is $7,413 since no one had the winner in Saturday's last race.
The Super High 5 wager is taken in all races where 7 or more starters enter the gate. Sunday's first race has 12 starters listed in a $65,000 maiden special weight race. It's a $1 minimum wager.
Track handle was $7.48 million Saturday, which includes the $1.8 million Rainbow 6 wagering mentioned above.
