Park has an 8-race program Friday with a 12:50 p.m. post time. Last
post is near 4:10 PM in race 8. No stakes races are on the Friday card.
This will be race day #9
in the carryover series for the Rainbow 6, since that wager paid out
the jackpot June 4th. The 3rd through 8th races are the Rainbow 6 races,
starting at approximately 1:47 PM. The carryover Friday will be $139,190 with a $200,000 gross pool guarantee if one winner takes the jackpot.
In July 16th racing action, three favorites won on the day, two in the last 6 races. The longshot winner was Antrim in race 4 at 5:1. The Rainbow 6 paid just $488.82 to 98 winners.
62 runners entered the gates Sunday, with 43 entries in the Rainbow 6.
The winning program numbers on the last 6 races were: 8-1/6-3/5/7/8-2/7-6-9 where 6 of 6 were paid the above.
The Late Pick 5 paid about 1/2 of the Rainbow 6 at $238.10.
Total all-sources track handle was $4.34 million Sunday. The purse money totaled $287,000 under clear-fast conditions.
