Gulfstream Park has an 10-race card Saturday, July 22nd. One stakes race is planned.
First post is at 12:50 PM in Hallandale Beach, Fla.
The Azalea Stakes will feature a field of 8 racing 7 furlongs on the dirt. It's a $75,000 purse set to go off at 4:35 PM in race #9.
Charlie's Wish at 8:5 is the M/L favorite as of Friday evening.
The Rainbow 6 wager is the sole carryover Saturday at $149,158.
On Friday, 6 of 6 paid $5,145.68 to 5 winners.
Swoonatra won race 7 at 23:1 odds paying $49.20 on a $2 win wager.
Just two favorites won in the 8 races Friday.
Total all-sources track handle was a lowly $2.93
million Friday. Our data shows that's the lowest Gulfstream handle
dating back to mid-November, 2021. Lots of Summer left with vacations,
etc., so that's no doubt a factor.
