Gulfstream Park has a 9-race program Friday with a 1:05 PM post time. That’s 15 minutes later than the prior meet races. Last post is near 5:20 PM in race 9. No stakes races are on the Friday card.
This will be race day #1 in the carryover series for the Rainbow 6, since that wager paid out the jackpot of $263,655.92 in last Sunday’s racing. The 4th through 9th races are the Rainbow 6 races, starting at approximately 2:35
PM. The Super High 5 wager has a $6,881 carryover in race #1 most
likely with 10 horses entered. That wager is available in every race
that enters 7 or more horses. It’s a $1 minimum wager.
In last Sunday’s action, five favorites won on the day, three in the last 6 races. The longshot winner was Amor Lejano in race 8 at 33:1. That’s Distant Love in English!
79 runners entered the gates Sunday, 45 in the last 6 races.
