Gulfstream Park will run 9 races Sunday with a 12:25 PM post time.
No stakes races are planned. The sole wagering carryover will be the Rainbow 6 at $53,553. That will start in Race 4 at about 1:52 PM.
In Saturday's racing action, 89 starters galloped for $404,000 in purse money.
Just 2 favorites won on the day in races 5 and 6. That made the late
races harder to handicap correctly, leading to nice payouts for the Late
Pick 4 ($1,800.45) and Late Pick 5 ($6,461.05).
Turbo and Dorth Vader won their Juvenile Sprint races, while No Name Dude and Hoax fell behind; both finished in 5th place after being the M/L favorites. She's Classy was the long-odds win on the day in race 9 at 11:1. That helped raise the payout on the Rainbow 6 to $5,111.60 to 7 lucky patrons.
The winning program numbers on the Rainbow 6 were: 1/2/5-7-5-1-2-12.
Total All-sources track handle was $5.20 million.
