At 4:00 p.m. Eastern on Tuesday, Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore will hold the post position draw for Saturday's Preakness Stakes.
Earlier on Tuesday, it is expected that Pimlico and its parent company The Stronach Group will announce whether they will allow the Kentucky Derby winner Medina Spirit to run in the Preakness.
The status of the Bob Baffert-trained Medina Spirit is in doubt because of a failed drug test in the Kentucky Derby, which was run on May 1 at Churchill Downs in Louisville, Ky.
On Tuesday evening we will have a report on the Preakness post draw and other Preakness news.
