GP Rainbow 6 Carryover Nears $900,000

At Gulfstream Park on Sunday, first post is 1:00 p.m. for ten-race card that has no stakes races.

Conditions are listed as Fast and Firm. The Weather Channel forecast is for a zero percent chance of rain during racing hours.

The first race has a Super Hi-5 carryover of $2,580.

The carryover on the Rainbow 6 is $899,859, after 13 days without a "jackpot" of just one ticket with all six winners.

The 20-cents per combination bet is on races five through ten with the sequence scheduled to start at 3:08 p.m.

Gulfstream has guaranteed that the Sunday pool will be at least $1.4 million if there is just one  winning ticket.  If the combination of the carryover and Sunday's wagering is less than $1.4 million, Gulfstream will put in the difference.

On Saturday, there were 17 tickets  with all six winning hoses.  Each received $14,577.54 for a 20 cent bet.

Program numbers of the winning horses were 1-7-9-4-5-4.

Wagering on the Rainbow 6 was $435,275.  Of that Gulfstream took out 20 percent, divided 56 percent among tickets with six winners and added 24 percent to the carryover.
