The carried-over Super Hi-5 was hit in the first race at Gulfstream Park on Sunday and it paid $21,351.90 for the minimum $1 bet.
There apparently was just one winning ticket.
The carryover coming in was $8,551. Bettors added $16,368, on which there was an 18 percent takeout. Doing the math indicates there was one winning ticket.
The race was a $35,000 maiden claimer for 2-year-olds at about 7 1/2 furlongs on turf.
The 8-5 favorite Garbar Boy (3) won it by a half length over Majestic Luna (5) at 8-1. The order of finish was 3 5 6 7 2.
Jeffrey Sanchez rode Garbar Boy for trainer Armando De La Cerda. The winning time on the course listed as firm was 1:34.01
