Friday's Gulfstream Racing; 12:50 Post Time

Gulfstream Park has an 8-race program Friday with a 12:50PM post time. Last post is near 4:25 PM in race 8. No stakes races are on the Friday card.

This will be race day #3 in the carryover series for the Rainbow 6, since that wager paid out the jackpot of $263,655.92 on June 4th. The 3rd through 8th races are the Rainbow 6 races, starting at approximately 1:53 PM. The carryover Friday will be $39,779 with a $75,000 gross pool guarantee if one winner takes the jackpot.

In July 2 racing action, two favorites won on the day, one in the last 6 races. The longshot winner was Warrior's Pride in race 8 at 7:1. The Rainbow 6 paid $7,485.26 to 6 winners.

56 runners entered the gates Sunday, the lowest tally since May 12th (52). It's the Summer Doldrums in South Florida, so field sizes shrink with the temps rising to the mid-90's during racing hours.

The winning program numbers on the last 6 races were: 6-7-8-1/2-6-1.

Total all-sources track handle was $4.48 million Sunday. The purse money totaled $378,000 under cloudy-fast conditions.

Good Luck!
