Friday's Gulfstream Racing; 1:05 PM Post TIme

Gulfstream Park has a 9-race program Friday with a 1:05 PM post time. That’s 15 minutes later than the prior meet races. Last post is near 5:20 PM in race 9. No stakes races are on the Friday card.

This will be race day #1 in the carryover series for the Rainbow 6, since that wager paid out the jackpot of $263,655.92 in last Sunday’s racing. The 4th through 9th races are the Rainbow 6 races, starting at approximately 2:35 PM. The Super High 5 wager has a $6,881 carryover in race #1 most likely with 10 horses entered. That wager is available in every race that enters 7 or more horses. It’s a $1 minimum wager.

In last Sunday’s action, five favorites won on the day, three in the last 6 races. The longshot winner was Amor Lejano in race 8 at 33:1. That’s Distant Love in English!

79 runners entered the gates Sunday, 45 in the last 6 races.

The winning program numbers on the last 6 races were: 5/7-6-4/6-6-2-3.

Total all-sources track handle was $5.12 million Sunday. The purse money totaled $303,000 under cloudy-fast conditions.

Good Luck!

Sunday's Gulfstream Racing; 2 Carryovers

by HorseRacing FLA staff
Gulfstream Park has a 10-race card Sunday.

First post is at 12:50 PM, with no stakes races planned. The Rainbow 6 will get started at approximately 2:50 PM in race #5 with a $189,767 carryover.

Saturday, three 10:1 odds winners in the last 4 races made handicapping difficult for the late races. Five favorites won on the day, but they were in the first 6 races.

In Saturday's racing at Gulfstream, 24 winners cashed the Rainbow 6 payoff of $2,236.36 each. Four favorites won in the last 6 races, but 45:1 odds Truth and Honesty won the last race, no doubt culling down the winners list considerably.

The winning Rainbow 6 program numbers were: 3-6-6/7/9-1-5/6-12.

The Super High 5 has a $2,810 carryover Sunday also.

All sources track handle registered $6.41 million Saturday, $98,834 of that bet on the Rainbow 6.
