Gulfstream Park has a 9-race card Thursday. First post is 12:10 PM.

No stakes races are on the card. The 4th through 9th races are the Rainbow 6 races, starting at approximately 1:40 PM. That carryover stands at $215,363, as it was the 6th day of the carryover on this wager since the mandatory payout on January 29th.

In Wednesday's racing, 4 winners collected a nice $15,750.76 each in the Rainbow 6, on a betting pool of $112,535.

Forty-four runners entered the gates for the Rainbow. The long-odds winner was 33:1 in race #7, when Pachanga Loca came alive winning by 8-1/4 lengths over Black Belt Barbie. The favorite Best Seller finished 5th. It was Pachanga's second win in 7 career starts.

Gulfstream's Wednesday Racing; 12:10 PM Post

Gulfstream Park has a 9-race card Wednesday, Feb. 8th.

First post is at 12:10 PM. Last Post is 4:10 PM.
Gulfstream races Wednesday through Sunday at the Hallandale Beach, Fla. track.

No stakes races are on the Wednesday card. The 4th through 9th races are the Rainbow 6 races, starting at approximately 1:38 PM. There's a $300,000 gross pool guaranteed for the Rainbow 6 if just one winner exists. Races 1,5 and 9 are planned turf races.
The carryover without the guarantee then is $188,361.

On the last live racing day, Sunday, Feb. 5, about 130 winners of the Rainbow 6 collected $592.84 each. Three favorites won in the last 6 races, and the betting favorite finished no worse than 3rd in the 6 races. That fact, along with the "off-turf" races in the 6th and 9th races, and the 2 horses scratched in both the 5th and 7th races, led to the measly payouts.
The Late Pick 4 and Late Pick 5 paid just $76.75 and $194.30 respectively.

The Rainbow 6 winning program numbers were: 3-3/5/7-4-2/5/8-6-6.

Total all-sources track handle was $8.06 million Sunday, along with a $411,000 purse size.

Saturdays Results; Sunday's Post Time 12:10 PM

Gulfstream Park has a 9-race card planned for Sunday's race day.

The 4th through 9th races are the Rainbow 6 races, starting at approximately 1:37 PM. The carryover there is $155,585 after that wager paid out a smallish $203.18 Saturday to approximately 1,000 bettors.

On Saturday, the Holy Bull Stakes was won by Rocket Can (2.6:1) in race 12 by 3/4 lengths. The $250,000 purse race favorite was Cyclone Mischief (1.2:1) who finished 6th in the 7 horse field. Besides that race, six favorites won on the day, including 4 favs in the last 6 races. That led to meager payouts on the exotic bets.

The late Pick 4 and Pick 5 paid just $51.60 and $97.50 respectively. The best win we saw on the card Saturday was the Super High 5 in the Holy Bull Stakes; that $1 bet paid $22,376.80 to 2 winners.

Total all-sources track handle was a whopping $19.84 million Saturday. That compares to the handle of $24.6 million last year. Last year's race day also ran 12 races, but this year's purses were 30% higher; ($1.23 million vs. $946,000).
