No stakes races are on the card. The 5th through 10th races are the Rainbow 6 races, starting at approximately 2:26 PM. The carryover there is $96,730. Gulfstream will guarantee a $150,000 gross pool Sunday if a single winner takes the Rainbow 6 wager.
In Saturday's 11 races, 7 bettors were paid $7,223.20 each on the Rainbow 6 win. Two favorites won in the Rainbow races 6-11, with Sea Art,
15:1 odds win in race 9. Interesting, no race-time favorite finished
worse than 4th, so it would have been a decent day to play the favorites
as an in-the-money wager; just two races did the favorite finish 4th.
Fifty horses ran in the last 6 races.
Total all-sources track handle was $6.63 million Saturday.
Saturday's purse size was $339,000.
