No stakes races are planned. The sole carryover from Saturday will be the Rainbow 6 wager, which starts in race 4 at approx. 2:27 p.m. $192,179 will be up for grabs plus today's wagering if a single ticket has all 6 winners.
In Saturday's racing, three of the six Rainbow 6 races were won by
their odds-favorites, substantially reducing the payout. The bet paid
$639.92 to 88 winners.
The days two stakes races were included
in the Rainbow 6 sequence, and they were both won by favorites: Brethren
Fillies Stakes and the Ocala Stud Juvenile Sprint.

Stronach Group Offering Free Equibase PPs at Gulfstream and Three Other Tracks
The Stronach Group announced on Monday that effective immediately and until the end of this year it will offer free Equibase Premium Past Performances for all racing cards at four of its tracks.
Those tracks are Gulfstream Park, Santa Anita Park,Laurel Park and Golden Gate Fields
The free Equibase Premium Past Performances will be available online without a sgnup or membership fee at XBTV.com. That is Stronach Group's Advance Deposit Wagering (ADW) company.
“This is an important innovation for Thoroughbred racing since most sports make their statistical information available for free,” said Aidan Butler who is COO of 1/ST Racing, Stronach Group's division that operates its tracks.
“This is also an important step to gauge interest in this kind of data from both new and seasoned bettors,” he added.
According to Equibase's Web site, the price of its Premium Past Performances is $2.50 per race card on ADWs

GP Resumes Thursday with $137,332 Carryover
Gulfstream Park will have a Rainbow 6 carryover of $137,332 when it resumes racing on Thursday.
The Hallandale Beach, Fla,, track will have eight races with first post of 12:50 p.m.
The Rainbow 6 will b e on races three to eight with the sequence scheduled to start at 1:54 p.m.
Gulfstream is guaranteeing that the Rainbow 6 pool (full carryover plus all of the day's new bet) will be at least $200,000 if there is just one ticket with all six winning horses. If that happens and the pool is les than $200,000, Gulfstream will put in the difference.
If there are multiple tickets with six winners Gulfstream will take out 20 percent of the day's Rainbow 6 bet and then divide 56 percent among tickets with six winners and add 24 percent to the carryover.

Peter D Wins Journeyman Stud at Gulfstream
Peter D passed Mr. Rum Runner entering the final furlong and went on to beat that rival by neo Leonwlmlengths in Saturday's $60,000 Journeyman Stud Stakes at Gulfstream.
The race was one mile and 70 yards on the Tapeta, Peter D at 9-2, won in 1:44.67 with Leonel Reyes riding for owner/trainer Andre Blanco.
GP Saturday Card Has Three Stakes Races

Gulfstream Park on Saturday will have three stakes races--all with $60,000 purses and one with several prominent Florida-stabled older horses.
Those races will be part of a ten-race card with first post of 12:50 p.m. On Friday, heavy rain resulted in the dirt track being listed as Sloppy during most of the race card.
As of 10 a.m. Saturday, light rain was falling in the area around Gulfstream in Hallandale Beach, Fla. The Weather Channel forecast is for the chance of rain to rise above 50 percent late in the race day.
We will report on track conditions when that information is available.
The feature race is the Miami Beach Handicap at on mile on dirt for three-year-olds and up. It has an eight-horse field that includes Noble Drama, King Guillermo and Eye of a Jedi. All three have won at least one major stakes race at a Florida track.
The Miami Beach is the ninth race with scheduled post of 5:06 p.m.
The Journeyman Stud Juvenile is one mile and 70 yards on the all-weather Tapeta track for Florida-bred two-year-olds
The Khozen Juvenile Fillies is for 2-year-old Florida-bred fillies and is seven furlongs on dirt.

GP Rainbow 6 Starts with 5-2 Winner
Adventure Seeker (5) at 5-2 won Gulfstream's fifth race to start the Friday Rainbow 6.
The carryover coming in was $79,594. Bettors addcd $45,718 to the pool.
Gulfstream is guaranteeing that the jackpot pool (carryover plus new bets) will be at least $150,000 if there is just one ticket with all six Rainbow 6 winners. If that happens, Gulfstream will have to put in about $25,000.

A steady rain is falling and the dirt track is sealed and listed as Sloppy as the third race approaches at Gulfstream, with scheduled post at 1:55 p.m.
Of remaining races the third, fourth, fifth, seventh and eighth are on dirt. Races sixth and ninth (last) are on the all-weather Tapeta track

GP Resumes Thursday with Two Carryovers
After being dark this Monday through Wednesday, Gulfstream Park will resume racing on Thursday with eight races and first post of 12:50 p.m.
The first race has a Super Hi-5 carryover of $7,554.
The Rainbow 6 has a carryover of $12,156. The 20 cents per combination-only bet is on races three to eight with the sequence scheduled to start at 1:58 p.m.
As usual during its fall meet, Gulfstream will have racing from Thursday through Sunday. First post will be 12:50 each day.

GP Rainbow 6 Hit for $461,035 on Saturday
The Rainbow 6 jackpot was hit on Saturday at Gulfstream Park and the only ticket with all six winning horses was paid $461,035.48 on a 20-cent bet.
Program numbers of the winning horses were 3-2-1-5-5-7.
Gulfstream will begin a new Rainbow 6 pool on Sunday. The 20 cents per combination-only bet will be on races four to nine with the sequence scheduled to start at 2:30 p.m.

Thursday's Racing at Gulfstream Park
After three dark days, Gulfstream Park will plan an 8 race card Thursday with a 12:50 PM first post.
Four dirt and four all-weather-track races are planned.
The sole carryover is the Rainbow 6 at $314,171. In Sunday's racing action, 15 winners split the Pick 6 win for $4,230 each.
It's been 13 days since the last Rainbow 6 winner-take-all payout, so expect plenty of wagering the next few days as the carryover increases.

Gulfstream: 10 Races Saturday 12:20 PM Post
Gulfstream Park will resume racing Saturday, Oct. 2 with a 10 race schedule and a 12:20 P.M. post time.
There are no stakes races planned. Five races are scheduled on the ALL WEATHER TRACK, as Gulfstream describes it. This new track surface made its debut on Thursday with 5 races, and another 4 races on Friday under Showery conditions. Five of 9 races were won by the favorites thus far.
This is the first October racing in many years at the Hallandale, Fla. track, after Gulfstream ended its Fall Meet (October-November) contract with Churchill Downs in late 2020.
That means Gulfstream will now offer year-round racing at one facility. Friday's racing action included a $3.75 million handle, 9 races, and a nice $21,275 payout on the Rainbow 6 wager. Just 2 winners had the correct horses in all six races! The Late Pick 5 paid even more, $37,648.
Saturday's carryover will be $252,130 for the Rainbow 6, with a post time of 2:52 PM starting in race 5 for the wagering sequence. The Super High 5 bet also has a $3,878 carryover. That wager will comence in the first race with 7 or more starters Saturday.
