He Takes Charge (6), at 6-1 odds, won Gulfstream's seventh race to start the Saturday Rainbow 6 .
The carryover coming in was $408,372. Bettors added $407,623 to the Rainbow 6.
That
created a pool of about $816,000. Gulfstream had guaanteed that the
pool would be at least $750,000. Thus, it will not have to put any
money into the pool.
*The
Late Pick 5 begins with the eighth race. There is no carryover coming
in. Gulftream has guaranteed that the pool will be at least $400,000.
*The Late Pick 4 begins with the ninth race. There is no carryover coming in. Gulfstream hs guaranteed that the pool.
The ninth race is the $300,000 Gulfstream Park Turf (Grade 1) at 1 1/8 miles for 4-YOs and up.
The tenth race is the $150,000 Suwannee River Stakes
(Grade 3) for fillies and mares 4-YO and up.
