Unified took the early lead and held on to beat the late-running favorite Mind Your Biscuits on Saturday in the $100,000 Gulfstream Park Sprint (Grade 3).

Morticia Wins Melody of Colors
Morticia took the early lead and held on to beat Attyia by a length in the $75,000 Melody of Colors for 3-year-old fillies at Gulfstream.
Morticia ran five furlongs on turf in a fast 55.07 seconds on the course listed as firm.
Jose Lezcano rode the daughter of Twirling Candy, who is trained by George (Rusty Arnold).
We picked Morticia, expecting she would come from off the pace.

Derek's Smile Wins Texas Glittter
Derek's Smile led at every call and beat Uncle B by three-quarters of a length in Saturday's $75,000 Texas Glitter Stakes at Gulfstream.
Paco Lopez rode Derek's Smile in the five furlong turf stakes for 3-year-olds. Derek's Smile won in the fast time of 55.77 seconds on the course listed as firm.
Derek's Smile, trained by Kelly Breen, was the even money favorite in the seven-horse field.
Uncle B was 3-1. Apache Brave, at 33-1, finished third.
The win was the third in four career starts for Derek's Smile, a son of Brother Derek.
The $1 exacta paid $7.00 and the $1 tri paid $55.50.
