Sunday's Gulfstream Racing; 12:25 PM First Post

Gulfstream Park has a 10-race card Sunday. First post is at 12:25 PM.

No stakes races are on the card. The 5th through 10th races are the Rainbow 6 races, starting at approximately 2:26 PM. The carryover there is $0 since the Jackpot was paid out Saturday as a mandatory measure. We posted our story Friday night without knowlege of the Rainbow 6 mandatory payout. We apologize. Gulfstream will guarantee a $50,000 gross pool Sunday if a single winner takes the Rainbow 6 wager. The Super High-5 wager has a $3,144 carryover (see graphic below).

In Saturday's 11 races, 18 bettors were paid $72,766.04 each on the Rainbow 6 win. Just one favorite won on the day in the Benny the Bull Stakes, race 10, when Pudding (9:5)  edged Gatsby by one length. Also, two race time favorites finished LAST in races 7 and 9. That's rarely seen, adding to the reason for the monster Rainbow 6 payout.

The late Pick 5 paid $4,918.

Fifty-two horses ran in the last 6 races.
Total all-sources track handle was $7.92 million Saturday, of which $1.24 million was the Rainbow 6 wager.
