Gulfstream Rainbow 6 Carryover at $109,732

Gulfstream Park will have a Rainbow 6 carryover of $109,732 on Friday.

First post is 12:35 p.m. for the 11-race card. The Rainbow 6 is on races six to eleven.

On Thursday, there were 89 tickets with the winners of all six Rainbow 6 races. Each ticket received $711.88 on a 20 cent bet.

Thursday was the fourth straight race day without the jackpot payoff  requirement (full carryover plus 80 percent of the day’s pool) of just one ticket with all six  winners.

The carryover coming in was $79,451.

Bettors added $126,217 to the Rainbow 6 pool. Of that, Gulfstream took out 20 percent. It then divided 56 percent among the tickets with six winners and put 24 percent into the carryover.

There was a single Rainbow 6 winning ticket last Thursday. It paid $324,180.

The Rainbow 6 is a 20-cent per combination-only bet. Multiple horses can be used in each race, thus setting up a ticket with multiple 20 cent combinations.  For example, a ticket with two horses in each race has 64 combinations and costs $12.80.
