Gulfstream Park will host a 13 race card Saturday, with a first post time of 12:00 PM.
Two stakes races are planned: the Silks Run Stakes in race 3 at 1:04 PM post, and the Captiva Island Stakes in race 12 at 5:42 PM.
On the carryover news, the sole wagering carryover Saurday will be the Rainbow 6 wager, starting in race 8 at approx. 3:40 PM, with 61 entries listed on the card. The growing carryover is now $1,101,518 if a single winner exists for all 6 races bet to win.
Four turf and 2 dirt races are
planned in the 6 races (races 8-13).In Friday's action, 79 starters ran 11 races with 5 favorites entering the winners circle.
Sixty Four bettors collected $3,316 each on the winning Rainbow wager, as 47 starters competed. The 27:1 win by Derby Day Jewel in the 6th race was the outlier in the sequence. That Horse beat the favorite, Noble Maria by 3/4 length. Derby Day Jewel was foaled on Kentucky Derby Day, 2016.
The late Pick 4 paid $52 on the minimum 50 cent bet.
The late Pick 5 paid just $129, as both of these races did not include the 6th race 27:1 winner.
Total handle was $9.44 million.
