Gulfstream: A Rare Friday With Stakes Races


Gulfstream Park’s Friday card has two stakes races—a rare attraction on a weekday at the Hallandale Beach track.
The $75,000 The Vid is 1 1/16 miles on turf for 3-year-olds and up.  It is the fifth race with scheduled post of 4:00 p.m.
The $75,000 Mo Exception is one mile on turf for 3-year-olds and up.  It is the eighth race with scheduled post of 5:32 p.m.
First post is 2:00 p.m. for a nine-race card.
There is a carryover of $69,4301.53 n the Rainbow 6.  It is on races four to nine with the sequence set to start at 3:30 p.m.

*On Saturday, Gulfstream will have twelve races with first  post of 12:45 p.m.
The card has two stakes races.
The $75,000 Trinniberg is six furlongs on dirt for 3-year-olds and up.  It is the fifth race with scheduled post of 2:47 p.m.
The $100,000 Sheer Drama is seven furlongs on dirt for Florida-bred fillies and mares 3-years-old and up. It is the 11th race with scheduled post of 6:03 p.m.
Gulfstream’s Sunday card has eleven races, none of them stakes, and first post of 1:15 p.m.
