Special congratulations are in order for veteran rider Mike Allen, who won race number 2,000 in today's opener. Allen rode DIVA CHICK to the winner's circle for trainer Dennis Ward with a laudable effort that got the win by only a nose. Keep it up Mike, best of luck for continued success!
Tampa fans might want to check out Race 6 at Keeneland today. RUBY LANE (1) is a very interesting entry from the stable of Tampa trainer Arnaud Delacour . This four-year old filly is undefeated on the grass and won a Grade 1 contest in Chile last summer. She has been training well all winter and gets Lasix and Julien Leperoux in the irons. She may be worth a wager as she faces a group of NW3X Allowance rivals at 8-1 on the morning line.
