As we expected, Gulfstream today announced that next Saturday March 31 will be the day when it will have have a madatory payout on the Rainbow 6.

The 12th race on today's 13-race card is the $100,00 Hutcheson Stakes (Grade 3) at six furlongs on dirt for 3-year-olds.
In the 6-horse field, we like Soutache (6), making his firstg start since winning the 1 1/16 mile In Reality at Gulfstream last Sept. 30.
He will be ridden byn Tyler Gaffalione, for trainer Ralph Nicks, and will be able tonuse his stslking style in race thatg should have plenty of speed,
Among the speedsters, we like the Todd Pletcher-traied Impact Player to hang on for second/.
