Gulfstream Park’s Rainbow 6 carryover has grown to
$2,929,465 for this Sunday.
Gulfstream will have
first post of 12:00 p.m. for an 11-race card. The Rainbow 6 will be on races
six to eleven.
The track has set Sunday Jan. 28 as a mandatory payout day
of the carryover—no matter the number of tickets with the winners of all six Rainbow 6 races.
The carryover has been growing because Gulfstream has gone
34 straight race days without the jackpot payoff requirement of just one ticket
with all six Rainbow 6 races.
On non-mandatory days with multiple tickets with all Rainbow 6 winners Gulfstream takes out 20 percent of the day’s Rainbow 6 bet. It divides 56 percent of the day’s bet among tickets with the most winners.
