It is 13 minutes before race 6 and the announcement had been made that turf racing will be halted for the rest of the program. Races 7 & 9 will now be contested at a mile 40 yards on the main track.
Our choice in race 4 finished third, but we did get the $2 exacta box which paid $14.20. We bet $22, which is a loss of $7.80. Added to the $19 deficit, we now are in the red $26.80. Let's re-group tomorrow.
