New First Post Time at GP West

The Gulfstream Park West meet has moved its first post time to 12:35 p.m. for most days through the end of its meet on Nov. 26.

First post had been 1:15 p.m. most days for  the meet that is being run at Calder in Miami Gardens.

Meet sponsor Gulfstream Park is making the change to coincide with the shift from Daylight Time to Standard Time.

First post at  GP West will be 12:35 p.m. this coming Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday.

On Saturday Nov. 11, first  post will be 12:00  p.m. That day's card will include eight stakes races for Florida-breds - all with $75,000 purses.
