We expect that It will be an Arrogate who will be close to the form he showed in his huge four-race win streak that culminated in his win in the Dubai World Cup on March 29.
And keep in mind that he was strong at the end of the Pacific Classic at Del Mar where he lost by a half length to Collected.
We admire the gutsy Gun Runner. But we expect that Arrogate will pass him.
Others to be considered are the speedy Collected and West Coast, along with the late-running and South Florida-stabled Gunnevera.
Our longshot to hit the board is War Story, who could be clunking along and pass any tiring leaders.
Mubtaahij, now in the Bob Baffert barn, also has to be considered for the tri and super.
