A
Celebration of Life for Kent Stirling will be held on Saturday, Sept 23 at
11:00 a.m. in the Sport of Kings Theater on the second floor at Gulfstream Park.
Mr.
Stirling passed away on Sept. 5, after a long battle with cancer. He was 72.

He
was executive director of the Florida Horsemen’s Benevolent and Protective
Association from 1995 to 2015.
He
previously was that association’s president, and was a multiple graded stake
winning trainer.
In lieu of flowers, Mr. Stirling’s family requests that donations
be sent to: FLTRAC (Thoroughbred Aftercare), His Place Ministries (Pembroke
Pines), or the Broward Ostomy Association.
