Gulfstream Underway With Dirt Listed as Fast

Keep Me Grounded,  the 4-5 favorite, pulled away in the stretch to win Saturday's first race  at  Gulfstream Park where rain thus far is staying away.

The race was moved from turf to seven furlongs on the dirt track listed  as fast.

Keep Me Grounded won in 1:24.17 with Miguel Vasquez  riding for trainer Saffie  Joseph Jr. and owner Drawing Away Stable.

Sea Cookie (10-1) finished second and Mongolian Sunday (30-1) came  in third in the $10,000 claiming race  for 3-year-olds  and up.

The  second, fourth, sixth, eleventh and twelfth races  remain scheduled for  the turf course that is listed as Good.
